While the others of both clans attended to their duties, Maggie took it upon herself to check in on Sadie.  Balancing a plate of food on one hand, she knocked on the door of the small room the winged-girl had been given.

"Sadie?" she asked, in her slightly gravely voice.  "Are you in there?"

Night had fallen some time ago, and various pieces of the Labyrinth were alternately abuzz with activity or fairly sedate.  There was the smallest bit of tension in the atmosphere, especially from Talon, Maggie, and Claw.  Something was clearly up, even if no one quite knew what. 

Delilah in particular, was rather confused.  All her duties had kept her inside lately, and nowhere near any of the exits.  The other clones were rotated through guard duty, but not her.  It was almost as though the others were trying to protect her, but from what she did not know.  Instead, she had been given fairly simple maintenence tasks, and those were done under a watchful eye of one of the mutates, or, on a couple of occassions Elisa or Lexington when they had come to visit.

As it was, she was currently assisting Claw with making some basic repairs to some of the electrical wiring that ran through one of the tunnels.  She did not mind the work--she liked it, as a matter of fact--but could not shake the feeling that something was going on that no one would tell her.
